Unless otherwise stated, there is no charge to attend the groups.

 GENERAL

The Seven Levels of Healing Program ®

The Seven Levels of Healing Program® is a seven-week educational program to help patients, family members, and loved ones navigate the journey through cancer as skillfully and effectively as possible. 

The program is open to anyone in the community who has been touched by cancer: patient, loved one, supporter, healing professional.  

You may enroll in the 7-week program after you have attended an introductory session.

Introductory sessions are offered on 2nd and 4th Monday afternoons.

Program session options: Wednesday evenings   OR   Tuesday afternoons*

(*some programs are now available at the Longmont RMCC - call for details!!)

Changes and Hopeful Transitions: A 6-Week Post-Treatment Support Group

Completing treatment can be both exciting and challenging.  The post-treatment journey can include re-defining and re-establishing your role and identity.  This six-week program will focus on the challenges after treatment such as what a "new normal" can look like and challenges to establishing a life as a cancer survivor.

Living With Metastatic and Advanced Cancer

Please join us for a time of discussion, information gathering, and support.  Talk with other people who are living with stage IV, metastatic or advanced cancer.

Caregivers and Loved Ones Support Group

Talk with other caregivers and loved ones who are supporting family and friends journeying through cancer.  Please join us for evenings of discussion, information gathering, and support.

Look Good...Feel Better®

 

An American Cancer Society monthly group providing women with a consultation for how to look your best while going through cancer treatment and recovery.

 

Meets 1st Monday of every month 10am-12:00

BREAST CANCER

Newly Diagnosed and Currently In Treatment

A breast cancer resource and information group specifically for the newly diagnosed breast cancer patient who is about to start treatment or is currently undergoing treatment. 

Meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday 4:00 -5:15pm

Moving Forward and New Beginnings (for all breast cancer survivors)

This group is for all breast cancer patients who would like to keep a connection with other women as they move through the breast cancer journey.  This group will primarily focus on moving forward after active cancer treatment through activities such as yoga, speakers, laughter therapy, swimming, walking, juicing, art and music.

Notification of the activity of the month will be done through email, Facebook and the BCH website.

Healing Through Beading (for all breast cancer survivors)

You are invited to join us as we use donated materials to make beaded jewelry.  This event has been widely popular over the past year.  It is a nice time to create something while visiting with other breast cancer survivors.  No charge.

Complementary Care 

Center for Integrative Care - Educational and Experiential Groups

 

In addition to individual appointments, The Center for Integrative Care, located in the Tebo Family Medical Pavilion, offers various mind/body workshops and educational groups to support well-being and relaxation.  Some topics addressed in these groups include:

  • Acupressure
  • Reiki

Kundalini Yoga Class for Cancer Survivors and Family Members

In this gentle beginner's class, you will be introduced to simple and effective breath, movement, sounds and meditation techniques to relax the nervous system, activate self-healing, reduce pain and boost energy levels.
