Communication Assistance BCH will take every reasonable step to help any patient with communication limitations to effectively
participate in and benefit from hospital services. This includes patients with no or limited English proficiency
and patients with hearing-related conditions. Patients who need such assistance should ask their nurse or
care provider. Courtesy Services Throughout the hospital you will find friendly staff with name tags indicating Courtesy Services. They will be
happy to guide you and answer your questions. Entertainment Wireless Internet access is available in several locations. In the patient rooms, you may request DVDs. Flowers Flower arrangements are available in the gift shops at Boulder Community Hospital and Foothill Hospital. Gift Shops There are gift shops at Boulder Community Hospital and the Foothills Hospital. Each shop sells a variety of gift items, small flower bouquets, cards, magazines and toiletries. Cell phone reception is excellent in most areas and most patient rooms have telephones with local calling free. Visiting Hours General visiting hours are 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. every day. The only exception is the Intensive Care Unit, which is closed to visitors every day from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. so that our nurses can meet to coordinate care of our patients. Arrangements can sometimes be made for extended hours by speaking to the charge nurse in the department that you are visiting. Return to Top
